Privacy policy
What flinter.io collects when you visit and when you join the waitlist, what we do with it, and how to have it removed. It covers this website. The Flinter product will have its own policy when early access opens.
Who we are
Flinter runs flinter.io. Write to support@flinter.io about anything in this policy.
When you join the waitlist
We keep:
- your email address
- which form you used (the one at the top of the page or the one at the bottom)
- the referral code in the link you came from, if it had one
- the country your connection comes from, as our host reports it. We don’t keep your IP address.
- the date you joined
We use them to tell you when your spot opens, to share pricing and launch news before the first wave, and to understand where sign-ups come from. We don’t sell them or share them for anyone else’s marketing.
We keep your details until you ask us to remove them, or until we close the waitlist. To be removed, write to support@flinter.io from the address you signed up with.
When you visit
The site has no analytics and no advertising trackers. When you join the waitlist, your browser remembers that you did (in its local storage, not a cookie), so the forms show you’re on the list. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
Like every website, the servers that deliver flinter.io handle your IP address and your browser’s details to send you the page and to keep the site safe from attacks. Our host may set a cookie that is needed for that protection.
Who handles your data for us
The site and the waitlist run on Cloudflare, which hosts the pages and stores the waitlist for us. If we use another tool to manage the list or send emails, it handles your details only on our behalf, and we’ll name it here.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, have them deleted, or stop us using them. Write to support@flinter.io and we’ll answer within 30 days. If you’re in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
When this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we’ll tell you before it applies.
